The GDM Mailbox Posts are designed to easily mount to any GDM brand of mailbox. The Newport Mailbox Post fulfills two needs: a sturdy support for your mailbox, and a newspaper holder that receives and keeps your newspaper sheltered until you pick it up. The Newport Mailbox Post is a 4" x 4" x 76" post constructed with 27 lbs. of high strength aluminum with a resilient powder coated finish, and is guaranteed not to rust. The post package includes a ball cap, stainless steel installation hardware, and mount. The newspaper holder is also included standard with any Newport Mailbox Post. This mounting system will support hundreds of pounds.
The post comes with a mounting sleeve inside. When ready to install, unfasten the set screws, slide out the sleeve and install into the ground. No 4" x 4" needed!
