All Special Lite mailbox posts are made of heavy-gauge aluminum and have powder-coat finished for extreme durability for a lifetime. Any Special Lite mailbox can be used with any Special Lite mailbox post.
Special Lite mailbox posts have two different mounting styles. A Direct Burial and a Surface Mount style while some posts offer both. The Direct Burial posts are provided with an 18" burial section to ensure a secure base for your mailbox. The mounting style depends upon the specific post is provided in the mailbox posts description.
The Tacoma post gives the appearance of a sculpted base with out the expense. The two piece wrap around base accommodates a 3" diameter post and is secured with sets of screws. The Tacoma comes as a direct burial style or surface mount mailbox post double mount can support one, two, or three mailboxes.
