All Special Lite mailbox posts are made of heavy-gauge aluminum and have powder-coat finished for extreme durability for a lifetime. Any Special Lite mailbox can be used with any Special Lite mailbox post.
Special Lite mailbox posts have two different mounting styles. A Direct Burial and a Surface Mount style while some posts offer both. The Direct Burial posts are provided with an 18" burial section to ensure a secure base for your mailbox. The mounting style depends upon the specific post is provided in the mailbox posts description.
Some posts are available to mount two mailboxes.
The Ashland Post Series offer several options for installation. They are provided with mounting hardware to attach them to an existing concrete pad and a bolt-on 18' direct burial post for new installation into concrete.
